  1. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

I was just watching the video, and I loved the music, and the video itself. Now I want to watch it all day looking at how the other groups were making the Pumpkin Bread. Did you make Pumpkin Bread when you were little?

    Your student,
    Kayla

  2. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

I was so fun making the pumpkin bread and making the turkey. My favorite part of making the pumpkin bread was cracking the eggs and stirring it up. I am really glad my mom came in and helped yesterday. In school did you make pumpkin bread?

  3. Dear Mrs.Yollis and class,

I was watching your video, too ,and I truly amazed! That song "country boy" really went with the whole video clip. Thank you for those pieces of pumpkin bread.I wonder who's mother/father came up with that recipe?

    Sincerely,

  4. @ Kayla,
Thanks for leaving such a wonderful comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures and music! It was a fun week of learning!

You asked if I made pumpkin bread when I was little. No, I didn't do too much baking when I was little. I sure enjoy baking now!

    @Ayush,

Thanks for a thoughtful comment. Like you, I thought the song "Country Boy" really matched the images.

The recipe for the delicious pumpkin bread came from Mrs. Strong. Yum!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

About the question Ayush asked you, you said that the recipe came from Mrs. Strong. Is Mrs. Strong one of the moms in our class?

    Your buddy,
    Kayla

  6. @Kayla,

You asked me if Mrs. Strong is one of the mothers in our class. No, the Mrs. Strong I was referring to is a teacher at our school. Mrs. Strong teaches fourth grade.

  8. Dear Mrs. Yollis' Class,
I am so glad that there was a video made of the pumpkin bread baking party. Unfortunately I couldn't volunteer that day, but this allowed me to see all of the work and fun that took place. I also smiled seeing all of the happy faces of the classmates.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! And thank you for the tasty addition to our holiday meal.

  11. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

I loved baking in class. My favorite parts about baking in class were stirring the batter, pouring the flour, and cracking the eggs. I loved baking so much! My mom and I loved the video from photo peach. I want to know how to do that for my blog.

    Sincerely,
    Nick

  12. Dear Mrs. Yollis's class,
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your pumpkin bread activity. It was such a vivid slide show with the enjoyable musical accompaniment that I almost felt like I was in the classroom participating. The sight of the pumpkin bread lined up in a row made my mouth water, and I could almost smell the aroma of the pumpkin bread fill the room!
Thanks for the opportunity to see what is going on in your classroom. It made me want to be in third grade again.

    Wishing you the best,
    (Marsha Cooke...Kendall's grammy)

  13. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

I think the song "Country Boy" went very well with the clip. The music was so groovy I couldn't help myself, I had to dance to it!

My mom and dad said the pumpkin bread that we made was one of the best they have tasted, and my mom dosen't really like pumpkin bread. It was so good all of us ate it in one day!

Did you like the pumpkin bread? I know I did.

    Sincerely,
    Kendall

  14. Dear Mrs Yollis' Class,

How fantastic for us to learn about your thanksgiving traditions! Does everyone make pumpkin bread at thanksgiving time? We don't know much about thanksgiving but we love being able to learn more from our friends in the USA.

We loved seeing everyone in your class working together and having fun!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  15. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

I thought that making pumpkin bread was one of the best activities this year! Making the body of the turkey was the fun part for me, and I though baking the pumpkin bread was fun too.

Watching the video on the class blog made me remember the wonderful time I had that day. Working with my group was a good experience.

My family is still enjoying the delicious pumpkin bread to this day.

    Your student,
    Sydney

  16. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

Making pumpkin bread was fun, but I liked decorating them more. I wonder where Thomas T. went for Thanksgiving. Do you know where he went?
